I am a wife to a wonderful man, and a mother of two wonderful and very different sons, aged 13 and 19. We moved to Montana in 1994, from the central coast of California. It wasn't a big life change for us, but it was a big weather change. I went to "Farrier School" (horseshoeing) in Merced California and graduated in 83' I've yet to tack a shoe on for money, outside of park service mules, while I was in college. Wasn't one of my best career choices, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have always led a creative life, growing up I have always admired my mother for her talent and creative mind. I spent all of the 80's and the early ninties working for the top horse trainers in the world, from Grand prix jumpers to 3 day eventers, and my personal favorite, cutting horses. I was able to travel, meet the industry leaders, get training, and work with our nations top equines and vets. Moving to Montana has changed that part of my life, I still miss it, but being a mom to my 2 boys rules now, and they need me.(they just don't know it)
